The Glebe

Amica’s The Glebe is located in one of Ottawa’s historic neighbourhoods, known for its leafy streets and historic homes. They care deeply about their residents' well-being which compelled them to incorporate outdoor spaces for fresh air, shade, and rain protection to provide the wellness benefit of healthy outdoor living throughout the year.

We installed an Algarve louvred bioclimatic pergola on the 2nd and 5th floor, with integrated lighting and heaters. The louvres of the Algarve tilt to mitigate the sun’s rays, allow airflow, and fully close to shield from the rain for fresh air all year round.
