Shore Thing

A Pratic T-Hide motorized retractable awning over the poolside terrace of a waterfront home in West Vancouver.

The awning extends to follow the sun, and a drop-down valance handles the low afternoon light coming off the water. LED lighting in the front bar carries the terrace into the evening.

It runs off a remote, and a weather sensor retracts it on its own. Closed, the awning is hidden inside its aluminum box, which leaves the view uninterrupted.
