Cove

Two Pratic T-Hide retractable awnings with drop-down valances, on the waterfront balconies of a home on the Sunshine Coast.

The awnings shade the deck through the day, and the valances drop for the low sun coming off the water. The mesh is open enough that the cove is still visible with the valance down.

Both run on a remote, and each awning retracts into its own aluminum box, so the view stays clean when they're not in use.
